I purchased this tv nigh 2 weeks ago to exchange a 42 in Panasonic plasma. There are a fate of peachy things about this tv, merely the one thing that matters almost – the flick – was a large disappointment. The aim and features of this tv are great. Internet worked actually well, menus are nicely laid out and I loved the large UN65D8000 screen. If you consider the tv straight on, the film is excellent, merely if you ride the slightest act croak substance it washes away quickly. Blackamoor levels gone terrible, screen uniformity issues gone glaring (flashlighting and vertical banding) and colors (particularly flesh tones) are poor. Watching an episode of American Horror Floor was a nightmare. I exchanged this tv for the PN64D8000 plasma and am much happier. The plasma flick is not quite equally bright, but the conk essence viewing and colors are far superior. For me, meliorate negroid stratums and colour are more important than spectacularly bright whites. The plasma has a far superior picture.
