I purchased this tv nigh 2 weeks ago to exchange a 42 in Panasonic plasma. Blackamoor levels gone terrible, screen uniformity issues gone glaring (flashlighting and vertical banding) and colors (particularly flesh tones) are poor. Watching an episode of American Horror Floor was a nightmare. I exchanged this tv for the PN64D8000 plasma and am much happier. The plasma flick is not quite equally bright, but the conk essence viewing and colors are far superior. For me, meliorate negroid stratums and colour are more important than spectacularly bright whites. The plasma has a far superior picture.
